@clickhere In my experience as a cyclist of >koff< many years, in which I have used bikes for everything from commuting and transporting garden plants home to audax and racing, the ones who cause the problems are the type who behave exactly the same way behind the wheel of a car. In a car, they could kill someone. On a bike, they give pedestrians a fright and cyclists a bad rep. Or they're delivery people working to inhumane deadlines. @piraat @dec23k @Rubelicious @baoigheallain

@ravenbait @clickhere @dec23k @Rubelicious @baoigheallain I think you're being a bit naive about it, they could cause more than just "a fright" if they hit someone, as for cyclist's reputations, I hardly think that something as frivolous as that matters. Frankly I think you're making excuses to minimise poor behaviour, exactly like car drivers do.

@ravenbait TOTALLY agree about the driver-cyclers - tho even those, I suspect, are a subset, just as they're a subset of drivers. The available stats here in Ireland show that most cyclers are drivers. So, I'm very attached to the Audi-driver idea. Re. delivery cyclers, yeah, some are really dodgy, tho I tend not to hate on them as much (sorta) due to the capitalist gig exploitation angle. The Audi-driver-cyclers are acting entirely out of choice. @piraat @dec23k @Rubelicious @baoigheallain
