I think one of the saddest things about being on mastodon is seeing the number of posts about trials of UBI, or housing the homeless, or like today, the solar coverings over canals, and knowing you'll see them again and again without them being implemented because some billionaire will lose money he'd never notice.

@Dtraslerwriting@mastodon.social I get where you're coming from, for sure. Still, for me, it's reassuring to know that so many people still care about building a better and more fair world. Even if it takes time, and work, to get there.
