So, I had a pretty rough case of COVID a couple years ago. Screwed up my sense of smell and taste for several weeks. Everything smelled sort of rotten and anything with vinegar particularly so. My sense of smell and taste eventually returned BUT every now and then I'll wake up in the morning and the rotten smell/taste is back nearly full blown (including this morning). Anybody know what the mechanism is for this?? #COVID
