@nikitonsky I'm all for dunking on Apple but "loading 40 icons is much harder to do than playing 400 videos" is just one of those things that seem crazy from a "normal person perspective" but make perfect sense from the inside

@valpackett@social.treehouse.systems I am from the industry and no, it doesn’t sound all that crazy. I am familiar with the excuses people usually make about those kind of things, but no, if anyone really wanted and cared, that shit would work in less than 1 frame on 120 Hz display. Besides, you don’t even need to load 40 icons. They are already loaded!
