@druid@toot.wales I am trying to not have to deal with political nonsense. The Reform leafleting dude swung by our house recently and I gave him back his leaflet and told him not to come back. not impolitely, but with enough emphasis that there was no room for interpretation.

@druid@toot.wales sadly, people will feel emboldened to be spiteful, selfish and cruel minded. Populists will always bring out the bread and circuses to get what they ultimately want, which is power and control and not governance, fairness and due diligence. Ultimately, we may have to endure a short period of total madness, but I have my sword and you have your gun. ☺️ And, my ascerbic wit has silenced many a foul and putrid lowlife (of which we have sooooooo many locally), and will continue to do so.

@druid@toot.wales We've got a similar problem here with the local independents group, but when I mentally tally up how many I see in proportion to the number of residents it's actually quite small. Vocal minorities as always...
