Sent my wife's old & no longer active Wix website to /dev/null and closed our account.
Even a couple months after redirecting all DNS records to a new different site (hosted somewhere else) I find it amazing (or perhaps not) that typical Wix SEO spammers would still reach out.
At least it was a useful reminder to say good riddance.
