@project1enigma @britter @sparrowsion You don't need a separate device for things dependent on Google services. It's apps going out of the way to ban using anything other than a Google Mobile Services device with the unmodified stock OS via the Play Integrity API which are an issue. That can't simply be supported with a compatibility layer. The apps need to stop going out of the way to ban using GrapheneOS. GrapheneOS does support hardware attestation but they'd need to allow it too.

@GrapheneOS @britter @sparrowsion Yeah just as a user, "the apps need to stop doing these restrictions" isn't always helpful (not your fault of course). I'm chronically ill and have no energy for bank hopping until I find a bank with more well behaved apps for example.
