i cosplayed the angel devil from chainsaw man at anime boston this past weekend! it was a ton of firsts for me: first time going to an anime convention, first time making a costume, first time styling a wig (and, to be honest, any kind of hair, really), first time (attempting to) put on makeup, and first time cosplaying in general! i spent a few months (very) on-and-off (mostly off) working on the costume.... styling the wig, building the (led!) halo, building the wings, figuring out how to mount them cleanly (rip goodwill jacket and free internship backpack), and it was a really fun (and expensive.....) learning experience will absolutely do something like this again in the future (if only to make my moneys worth on all the hair-related products i had to buy lol (but for real this was an awesome project i'm really proud of))
