I feel like I've been away forever! I had a great time walking in the Netherlands. The weather was beautiful, the area really quiet and lovely and the people friendly. It was a good time to try out my new backpack and hiking alone for 5 days was really not all that difficult. I'm glad I tried out solo hiking, would definitely do it again. It was an amazing way to clear my head and destress. Just sitting between the dykes and the sea listening to many birds breeding there was heaven. I could have done that for hours.

Some more pictures of my walk. I had incredible weather. Not too hot, not too cold and no rain all week. The first day was very windy, but after that even the wind was perfect. Saw some amazing night skies, but my phone and my photography skills were not good enough to capture them.
