Apparently, such barges can be towed, in parallel - is this what it's called - parallel towing? This config must steer like a sidecar-moto.
Embarrassingly, i've elected to live in #Hamburg, but i've not learned much about the shipping ways. 😅
(I've actually learned quite a lot in the recent months, thanks to Sal Mercogliano / What's Going On With Shipping on YouTube - you're smart enough to figure it out 😉)

🧵 7/n #Timmy #Whale Another blunder of mine; it's not parallel towing - their camera zoom was too tight! In the top right corner, there's another vessel, the one that's actually towing the barge.
