now I write my own firmware from scratch. because I had FUN WITH IT. and I learned the fundamentals while having FUN.
drawing, electronics, music, and other hobbies are not critical situations. you don't have to get it right the first time. you can just go hog wild.

if someone tells you some bullshit about "bad habits" or "fundamentals first", IGNORE THEM (for now). you need to build confidence and routine in yourself FIRST. do that hard shit LATER when you have the confidence to stick with it through the suck.
