@Mutedog @j_bertolotti I think it's that Corporate social media needs you... they need your eyeballs, your rage, your engagement, and the primary goal is yto gain users and keep them using the network, because that means ads and more money and influence. The Fediverse? Those things don't matter. There is no earnings call, no ad sales quotas, and less "we need to keep these users fully engaged, and outraged, even!"
