I have the same issue with another provider, as the .com version of an email seems to route to mine. I have told the provider, to no avail. I occasionally get holiday bookings and all sorts for the other person who is in the USA. But I’m not an arsehole so I leave it be, and just delete the email without interfering in their life.

@LDJ The fess is BS. Gmail ignores the full stop. My dad's googlemail was set up with the full stop in his name, if you forget it the email still reaches him.
