No, we're not looking at time travel shenanigans. Bryce first met Zeke in one of those themed bars that were popping up all over the city last decade. In this case it was a 1920s speakeasy. Bryce liked to spend time there after his concerts wrapped up, because it let him come back down to earth from the excitement of the stage in an environment that was itself somewhat liminal: neither here nor there. (Plus he could keep his tux on and not feel totally out of place.) Zeke, however, was *precisely* the sort of guy who'd hang out in a historically themed pub.
