@strypey True. It still frustrates me that IMAC puts out these recommendations while some of our most prestigious epidemiologists say it's not a good idea to drop the rate of booster shots. Where is the scientific discourse?
Nikki Turner from IMAC complaining that it was too confusing and therefore people not getting their regular boosters is ridiculous. The risks of repeat Covid infections have been downplayed by govts around the world for years now in order to save their respective economies in the short term and so people believe it's not a big deal. If they had invested in public health messaging about the safety of the vaccines and the benefits instead, they'd probably get more uptake.

I'm not saying you're wrong. But we tell our rabbitholed friends that they ought to trust the public health authorities saying 'stay inside' or 'get vaccinated'. So why don't we trust them when they say the risk has lowered? We demand strong evidence that authorities are over-egging the risks. So ...
