How much every ad-ridden data-harvesting layoff-rabid corporation crucially relies on… GPLd software of all things? You know the xkcd. Is that a status quo worth shaming people building their own software for? What are we doing… For every company decimating their engineering team out there, there are now 9 engineers who can have the same impact. This is big tech cannibalizing itself. Zuckerberg and Elon for all intents and purposes have had “AGI” for decades. Let them have their stack of gpus and build weird ass jank 3D worlds and cringe on social media for all I care.
