I've made significant progress in my #solar power project. I drilled a one inch hole through my house (through 5.5 inches of wood) and now have two of my panels (350 Watts and still temporarily installed) feeding my #ecoflow battery system. The batteries are currently only running my hot water because that was really easy to unplug and plug into the inverter. Next step is to get some panels permanently mounted on the roof. That won't be fun.

Here's the solar generation data for yesterday. It's not great for several reasons (few panels, cloudy and the battery was already at 87% of capacity when the sun came up). But it's great for all kinds of other reasons. Why they choose a delivery truck for km driven is a mystery. Hmmm. I can't add alt text to the picture, so I'll put it here. A screenshot from the app - a nice curve showing the solar powered i captured the the time of day i captured it. It also tells me that I saved an entire 632g of CO2 emissions, planted 0.02 entire trees or drove 2.64 km. This is 1.58 kWh gets you. It will be sunnier today, but I think the battery will tap out before the sun sets as it is already at 89%. Edit to actually add the picture. No wonder adding alt text was a problem. #solar #ecoflow
