I defeated my 3rd divine beast (Naboris) in Breath of the Wild (BotW). Am exhausted now. It's hard to explain to people who don't have an energy limiting chronic illness, how tiring fighting in a video game can be. So much tension, using your arms/hands, heartrate going into overdrive. It's our version of a marathon.
I adore BotW, but I have to keep taking breaks. I'm in my 6th month of playing now! It's fun, but I have to do it on spoonie time. How long have others taken?

@GwenfarsGarden Naboris is pretty hard. You’re doing a good job. Don’t worry about how long it took. The most important thing is to have fun. Are you having fun??

@GwenfarsGarden that's great! I found that boss really tricky!

@GwenfarsGarden I'm glad you found a game you can enjoy yourself with!

@GwenfarsGarden I feel this... I had the same issue with Stardew Valley, which seems much less intense. But the fishing mechanism is so intense, I have to allow an extra "year" to get through that alone. The fighting is the same, until I can get genuinely overpowered.

@GwenfarsGarden@rage.love I get that. We pretty much can’t do combat at all in video games!
