  So I heard, telling people about your good deeds motivates others to do good too. I don’t necessarily believe this theory, but I’ll share this once as an exception. Helped a clueless young man get heating pads for his girlfriend, cause I found him wandering around in the sanitary product aisle. Apparently this was his first time. I hope he scored some brownie points with his gal ☺️

  As a former Muslim, I have a lot of mixed feelings about people who go on anti-Islamic rant. Some of their points are valid. But sometimes it feels like, they forget other problematic religions exist. And all of those are just more tools to oppress people. You’re not winning any points in my book just for singling out Muslim people

  Not that I actually have a job that contributes but 15 years ago when I went to grad school for air quality science, everyone close to me grumbled how that’s too fringe with no job prospects. Yeah, I never did get a job but I don’t regret studying that for one bit, specially when current administration is trying to gaslight people about environmental issues. It hurts my heart to see every summer, I get proven right
