I’m wondering if a railway company would have standing to sue for damages from the illegal German border checks. DB Fernverkehr probably wouldn’t try, given that they are owned by the German state, but maybe PKP Intercity would?

    @partim@social.tchncs.de Only if the current government was suddenly in need of a new statement of how they are not pro-German. And even then, border controls are a touchy subject on this side, too. And not many people care about international trains. They'd look for something else
