@dustin If it was me, I'd refresh myself in the rusty language first to ease myself in. Kind of a quick win scenario, you know?
But depends on your goals really. I would love to actually speak another language well, but maybe you prefer to just have a bit of vocab in ten different languages and that's fun too!

@thegiddystitcher that's a fair point. however, the allure of a new language or one i've only dabbled in is that it feels new and exciting. for several months, every time you study you learn many new things, so it really feels like progress. i do, however, agree that it's nice being able to speak well. i have let a couple of languages atrophy, so it'd be nice to get them back up to a comfortable conversational level.
