Thanks for these! There's a shop I regularly go to, but their turnaround takes a lot longer than I need. Not having a bike for a daily commute is difficult and expensive. I'm bad at repairs, even more ones. I've tried to learn, but I've been unable to retain or use fine motor skills to resolve problems, even like loose brakes or changing a tire tube. I am willing to pay someone else for their time and labour to eliminate that stress. ReCycles is great and that's where I've bought bikes before.

@theashtonstarr@mastodon.social Minor tune-ups like tightening brakes is easy but I get it. There is a mobile bike shop in town but as I've never had to use it, I don't remember the name. So that might be an option.

@theashtonstarr@mastodon.social @cassey@ottawa.place I put up a list of bike shops here: https://ottawabybike.ca/bike-shops/ for minor tune ups, maybe you could hit ReCycles and do it yourself? they’ll teach you how!
