I wonder if NingNing struggles because she is not a native speaker of Korean and is less at ease with the language than Giselle.
This is pure guesswork, because I haven't watched their reality show, but I do think that being funny, charming, and so on in a language other than one's own can be difficult. Being a non-Korean Kpop idol must be stressful at times
Your mention of Hyeri's show reminds me of how much Kpop content there is. I've only scratched the surface.

@jemmesedi Yeah, I think those factors (non-native speaker), etc. could definitely be at play. Ningning's "deer in headlights" response to interview situations is in stark contrast to Ningning as a performer. The word Dawn and I bandy about frequently with respect to Ningning is "molten". Her on-stage charisma is really off the charts, and of course her voice is like one of the mythical sirens.
