@jemmesedi Yeah, I think those factors (non-native speaker), etc. could definitely be at play.
Ningning's "deer in headlights" response to interview situations is in stark contrast to Ningning as a performer. The word Dawn and I bandy about frequently with respect to Ningning is "molten". Her on-stage charisma is really off the charts, and of course her voice is like one of the mythical sirens.

@jemmesedi I also think second-youngest member Winter is an amazing vocalist and performer. I'm always impressed with Winter's confidence and perfection as a performer. Like Ningning she has amazing vocal range and power. Overall I think the 4 members are well-balanced and as a group they're able to pull off really complicated and dramatic songs.
