Disappointing to see brand new junctions look like this in 2026 in Australia. Small access street (50km/h) for a brand new estate meeting an 80km/h road. Weird footpath layout, high speed turning radius for vehicles, and an obvious layout (images 3-4) that wouldn't even need much change or compromise – but would be so much safer for all. And it's not just here - this could be anywhere. Curious how these sorts of poor design get implemented when there's so much best practice to look at?
