@nedley Transit Card, but not necessarily Express Mode (ie Visa or Mastercards credit/debit card in Apple Pay, tap to ride, without first creating the local Transit Card in Wallet).
Still a solid feature, but a step-down for tourists having to create and topup a card first, compared to just tapping the phone for Apple Pay / Express Mode.

@nedley my question - if you’ve tried it - is whether using Apple Pay for transit has Express Mode enabled in Portland. https://trimet.org/fares/bankcard.htm No stress if you haven't tried it (if the Hop card works well, maybe you didn't have any need for Apple Pay/contactless), but if you have, that'd be good info to know. Doesn't seem to be noted either way, which is often a 'no’ but not always
