@alnetloc @murena Answering myself: Pre-2026 Android versions are not affected, and as #eos is currently based on android 15 it shouldn't be affected by Google's sideload lockdown. Custom roms like e/os normally strip Google''s services and restrictions, it remains to be seen if future versions of AOSP can also be stripped. I guess the fight against corporate greed will never be over. Trying to turn Android into a walled garden might backfire.
