whole companies happened before the AI hype. You just need to run the whole company say inside one AWS account, and have some legacy developer keys lying around that are good keys that are all powerful. @dotjayne @wakame

    @yacc143 @dotjayne Yes, I agree. My point was more: You could always blame a single person or human error. "This was not a systematic problem, that was this one person doing something very wrong." Not having an offline copy of your data is obviously a "systematic" problem at a certain scale. As is not revoking old keys, having a proper overview regarding permissions etc. I think that so little goes wrong because people are normally rather careful. And our systems are designed for careful people, not careless ones. Now we have tools that are essentially random, but it feels like "random with intent": Deleting one database is an accident, deleting all of them is having an accident, then following through.
