@iamkonstantin I used to run Debian for many years but found its stable nature somewhat limiting when it comes to getting new app versions easily.
Maybe that is a personal problem since I sometimes run into it nowadays using Ubuntu Server LTS as well.
I’ve never had any actual issues with the Distro though, so I can 100% echo your sentiment!

With Flatpak gaining traction that's not as big of an issue as it used to be. I can still get up-to-date versions of apps, often officially published by the author on Flathub, even if Debian's own repos are somewhat out of date.
