@baillehache_pascal while I know this is mostly chance and this pattern simply "looks like it", there are some features that are intriguing (like the horn-like features at both sides, also in the vicinity of the set). I wonder if there is some biological process that approximates (in a very broooad sense) the number of iterations of the Mandelbrot sequence, or something like that.

@BatchDrake I would be delighted to learn there indeed exists such a process. Given how the Mandelbrot set is built it seems to me impossible, but who knows, Nature is so unbelievable sometimes... 🙂
