  Arrived in France with no other problems than a full cup of burning coffee spilled on the pants mid-flight. "North Pole" route this time (Japan - Bering strait - Groenland - Iceland - UK - France). Second time for me, but first time during daylight so I could enjoy the view on Groenland. It is sooo beautiful (sorry no pictures).   First dream back in France was of course a nightmare, but a small one: I'm at home and must leave quickly to catch a train, however before leaving I must complete the never ending refactor of try/catch-es in a huge code base due to a new type of exception in a third party library. The stress between the two contradictory tasks increases until it wakes me up.

  Some time ago I read the article "The case for gatekeeping, or: why medieval guilds had it figured out" by @joanwestenberg . I even took a few hours to think about how that could be implemented. But I couldn't come up with something I was happy with, and moved on to other things. Today I've heard of the "human.json protocol", and it seems to me to be interesting, hence sharing here.
