Explain to me why many corporations still have desk phones that require a line, and a handset that requires one of those curly messed up always tangled handset cords that makes every want to scream? Why can't I have a wireless phone of some sort with no handset cord? Hmm?
I don't get it. I am forever shutting my office door so I can put someone on speaker so I don't have to finish a degree in quantum entanglement to get the handset cord straight..
Somebody explain why we haven't evolved??

@Thoreau Something about having secure, internal communications that do not rely on some external provider. Of course a lot of them now do anyways. But not all. I've never had such problems with the cord, but then I don't spin the handle around willy nilly, which causes that ;-)
