@yngmar Korean popular dishes include corn cheese (!), cold corn salad, corn soup, and roasted spiced corn on the cob. Their corn is a slightly less sweet and slightly chewier version of American corn. Their kernels in movies look huge to me! I can attest I have watched enough K-dramas that I have seen these down-home comfort-food dishes presented. Nom nom nom

@Thoreau That corn cheese looks sickly delicious. I want some now!

@yngmar Cornbread Krusteaz Cornbread Mix 6 oz of cream of corn 8 oz kernel corn 1/2 cup sour cream 6 oz diced chiles 1 c of shredded Mexican cheese Mix it up by hand. Use olive oil to coat an 8x8 pan. Pour mixture in. Put 2/3 a cup of shredded Mex cheese onto the mix. Bake according to box directions, than add 15-20 minutes because with the extra ingredient it takes longer. When cheese is golden brown and bread is firm, take out. Best with cowboy beans. Add butter and honey to taste.
