if you don't think you have anything to share, you 100% have something to share. i promise. we all do.

@inherentlee@flipping.rocks it's one thing to have stuff to share it's another to have one specific area to consistently share particularly at beginner level or at a non-cursed-as-hell level or even at a not-a-rambling-infodump level i might know a bit of trivia about lots of stuff, and existence of a myriad of things, i might write posix shell scripts for everything for no reason, including kinda cursed stuff like i got up to like, half-a-dns-client in sh (so goddamn annoying i only parse headers, the dns protocol isn't even byte-aligned!), a scrolling terminal tui menu widget from scratch, reading input byte-by-byte and parsing arrow keys and doing cursor movement and colors manually, a web radio client that's like...multithreaded? having a separate background thread asynchronously poll and render info, in addition to manual input also updating, making lua+shell hybrid, that isn't "just a polyglot" but actually lets lua call shell functions and shell call lua functions from each other, in same file... or some other various levels of jank, weird, or flat out cursed stuff (need to finish what amounts to kind of a network config DSL in posix shell lmao, no, it's not better than stuff like ifconfig-ng in any way, i just felt like doing it one day for no reason), also a bit of other languages i have a lot of wacky and weird stuff, but i only have weird cursed knowledge, not normal stuff to tell normal-ish people, "did you know you can have multiple users with same uid and homedir but different usernames and password?" "uid-the-what-now?"
