You can do it later in day as the flowers stay open until evening arrives. I've usually done it mid afternoon hours.

@PhoenixSerenity @deirdrebeth I had to hand pollinate mine. In one of my previous attempts, I was about to hand pollinate but saw a bee going from flower to flower and figured they’d already done the job. Wrong! The female blossom wasn’t pollinated after all and dropped. Lesson learned.
