Welcome to #LoveMakeShare for May 2026! Tell us about you, and the things you create! Hi! I'm @Stegosaur, an increasingly queer but presently cishomo dinosaur in the New England area currently between jobs in the IT field; pronouns are he/him! Most of my life has been creating digital spaces of varying sorts. I've been community moderators for game servers, IRC channels, and forums; I also self-host my own services that I'm gradually expanding out to friends and my kinkster communities for safe spaces away from centralized social media networks. Since COVID, I've been trying to make more physical things! I've been taking lots of photos of birds, architecture, and street scenes, printing out my faves into binders for sharing with local friends. I've been baking recipes and making tweaks to them, like my dark chocolate chip cookies and my dark chocolate buckeyes; tempering chocolate is a weird, but fun, meditation! I've taken up mixology of late, once someone finally clued me in that alcohol is *supposed* to taste awful and that's why we mix it with juices and stuff. Big fan of Maraschino Luxardo Originale in a Long Island Iced Tea, for a "Cherry Coke Long Island". Once I'm gainfully employed again, I also intend to resume my cannabis journal! It was fun limiting it to once a day and documenting the subtle differences and headspaces of different strains, finding ways to amplify desired moods. Oh, and I also commission artwork and then write stories for them. It is all very lewd and has been an excellent way to explore my own sexuality during the COVID lockdowns. I've also got a lengthy markdown document of projects or hobbies I'd like to indulge more in once I have a home or the space: 3D Printing, carpentry, and locally-hosted smarthomes among them. Always looking for ways to improve life with technology in ways that preserve privacy, promote agency, and improve well-being.
