To be clear, 'have a credit card on file' is a more acceptable form of age validation than 'give us all your ID so we can give it to our shady third party partners who definitely won't keep it forever', which is why we've used it for, what, thirty years of internet so far? But I have a credit card on file. That my account is old enough to drink and has been active for that whole period is secondary and makes it /hilarious/ (-ly bad)
