Meta just laid off 10,000 people. This follows 11,000 job cuts back in November—now totalling 21,000 people within a year. Additionally, 5,000 jobs will now go unfilled. While I heavily dislike Meta and everything it stands for, it gives me no pleasure when people lose their livelihoods.
