@Soozcat @yetiinabox I saw this movie as a kid, in its initial run, and that scene just seemed profound.

@StefanEJones @yetiinabox I was a little too young to remember seeing it in theaters, but it was in frequent rotation on television when I was a kid (complete with chicken beheading!) and because I saw it so often as a child, I did not appreciate the wonderful quality of performances in this film until much later in life.
