@yetiinabox That's a lovely story, and I'd like to add a similar impactful event for me. My parents owned a small factory in the Finch/Dufferin area of Toronto - and when I was almost out of high school in the late 70s there was a HUGE Knob Hill Farms grocery store that opened. That neighborhood had lots of immigrants (we emigrated to Canada in the early 60s) and every few weeks you would see people breaking down crying in the fresh food section. Ok day I asked if they were ok and a family member said - they are fine. This is my uncle from Poland, and they have never seen so MUCH food. So yeah - be kind - it's the very least we can do. If you think life is hard here it's still pretty good most of the time. It's all relative.
