Just like it I have never been awed by the fact that a computer can play chess better than humans, so I have never been awed by the fact that computers can generate and analyze part of computer code. Nor do I think it is strange that a machine, even if an ugly and insect-like machine, can run faster than human sprinters. Nothing of this suggests to me we are in an 'era of AI'. It is an era of capitalism betting on the betters on "AI".
