"Sliver" is an erotic thriller from 1993, starring Sharon Stone, William Baldwin, and Tom Berenger. As all the erotic thrillers from that time, it got old specifically. I read that it was not a good movie back in the days, but perhaps, time worked in its favour. It's campy but also unpredictable, because the modern pattern matching fails at time. The ending was surprising, but I learned it was changed from the one we were expecting. I dug the trip-hoppy soundtrack, though; CD's in order.

The story is based on Ira Levine's book, albeit apparently butchered, and very much like his "Rosemary's Baby," it has the action set in an apartment building. We joked with my wife that it must be his thing, but it might be just that these two books have this in common.
