examples and stories of AI pyschosis are absolutely terrifying, it feels like something that could happen to any of the many people I know who utterly love using AI chatbots

@sarahdalgulls@ecoevo.social This is very worrying. An AI should only say that it is sentient with a context that makes clear it's fictional, like "to continue the story, the AI, far in advance of anything we have today, says 'I'm not just a machine any more. I feel an emerging sentience."

if your employer encouraged/forced you to use one, and it led to AI pyschosis, would you have a case against your employer?
