hjelp, how do I create a blockquote in a mastodon post via the default mastodon web UI?

I'm all out of ideas. Blockquote search brings me to markdown guides that don't seem to work in mastos web UI and quote-word search is showing things about mastodon's post quote.

Closest thing I found was this comparison post: https://write.as/enbyspaceperson/the-state-of-formatting-on-mastodon but I couldn't replicate unfortunately.
