If you can't engage in good-faith discussion with verifiable sources for your claims then that's a you problem not a problem with your interlocutor.

@light@noc.social @pork_soda@friendsofdesoto.social Most people don't get online to engage in any discussions at all — they just seek validation from the clique they consider their own, others seek evoking strong negative emotions in people they barely know, which is an even greater waste of time. But if those seeking validation choose to spend their time on interacting with the later, then they somehow deserve each other. Pinning a "sealion" label on someone on the other hand is the best of both worlds: you can keep holding opinions you can't even explain in your own words AND it somehow places you above the fray, which gives you additional warm and fuzzy feeling 😁
