You've invented an argument that not only no one has made but that no one *could ever* make, which should clue you in that you're barking up the wrong tree. The point made here - as you know perfectly well - is that people fall into easy rhetorical traps that in practice *do* conflate Jews not (just) with genocidaires, but with 'Zionists', and that at the extremes some people go on to attack innocent Jews because of such rhetoric. The author cites several examples of people doing this. It falls on the rest of us to be careful with our language.
