I swore I was going to replace the stripped and drilled out bolt with a hardware store head head, but I lost my nerve and ordered a genuine Mercedes.
Look how shallow that Torx head is.

@dan okay, now I'm impressed. See those letters? That's a class 10.9. Alloy steel, tempered and quenched with a proof of 830MPa, tensile of 150kPSI, and yield of 940MPa with a hardness of at LEAST HRC32. Meaning 1049N/mm^2. You have to MASSIVELY fuck up to strip one of those.
