Week three and I'm touching prod. And it just feels normal and great and there are good SOP docs and I'm being guided and partnering with people. Compare this to my toxic as fuck last job where they didn't let me do shit because everyone was jockeying for power but expected me to "read between the lines and pick it up" and it took three months to get me admin and NINE MONTHS before they'd allow me to go on-call. What a nightmare. Grateful to be where I am now among smart people who care about each other. No signs of hero worship, although there are plenty of knowledge siloes that I'm already starting to break down. #SRE
