@feinschmeckergarten@norden.social Thank you. The greenhouse space is upgraded considerably with a straw bale cob building, a mini split heating and cooling unit and solar. This is our first spring with these. Our home is mostly off the grid. The utility company is the back up to the solar system. We have been planning for a solar system for decades. The panels, batteries, and inverter systems are better each year. The system capabilities took a leap.

@Pollinators@epicure.social The straw bale cob building greenhouse and the rest of the setup sound exiting. Did I miss pictures of that? We wanted to get a PV system with batterry for a long time. Poor health got in the way. However this year, we want to get it on the workshop roof. And when the Iran war started, I told the friend, who will build it with me, to order all parts. According to him, the price for the panels has increases by 30% since then. Once the gardens are on their way - a new project! 🙂
