@Pollinators@epicure.social Wow. That looks amazing. Building regulations in Germany are a lot of red tape you need to cut through to build with straw.
A bloke from the neighbouring village - must be some sort of masochist - went through it. His building doesn't look this sleek and modern though.

@feinschmeckergarten@norden.social The code journey was manageable. The California Straw Bale Builders Association has a book of standards and construction details we used. The wooden framing currently hidden inside the straw bales and cob is a wooden park gazebo design and meets codes. A carpentry company did this work.
